Communiqués de Presse: I.1 (Royaume-Uni)

Hi All,

Looking at our roster and our pulls from the Academy things have been pretty sparce since the teams conception. Don't get me wrong we have been incredibly blessed to have the services of, Keene, Palmer and Lewis but one thing is certainly evident though and that is the increasing quality of our keepers coming through.

What with Millen being currently in the UK team we also have the incredibly strong Nick Davies coming through. And if that wasn't enough we now have Clint Perkins who will almost certainly eclipse both of his team mates between the sticks.

Other news, We had been searching almost for a season for a first line left back. Eventually we went for Milano Gulan a very promising youngster. We will see the best of him shortly. - But at the moment he is finding it increasingly difficult to get past the irrepressable Matty Marsh who isn't giving up his place lightly.

We had to say a sad fairwell to Mitchell Stannard this week. A high quality utility player for sure. The way we saw things though was that we needed a more specialised offensive pivot to train up to back up Gabi. An investment again in the team that we hope we will see a surge of improvement in next season.

Congratulations to Palmer and Millen for making the UK team. Palmer will become more Block/Pass Focused and Millen is holding strong in the nets although his league form isn't particularily helped by his shooting focused backs. We are looking at this and Keene is starting to (most reluctently) train his more defensive abilities !

The team is strong at the moment with the 2nd line coming in more and 'freshening' things up. And where do we see ourselves at season end? What with Lincoln running away with the league with an incredible side we can really only aim for a berth in the playoffs that basically avoids them for as long as possible ! Would be great to get that 3rd place trophy which is going to be really tough - we will see. One thing for sure is though is that we will fight every game to win !
