Cannon Fodder manager RossP was ecstatic following his side's recent success in the playoffs. After already securing top spot in the league after a gruelling, hard fought season, hopes among fans and players alike were understandably high.
Cannon Fodder didn't have it easy however, just edging past the 8th seeds Alma Angels in round 1 over 3 games.
Round 2 versus HK 2013 Lucenec was just as intense, taking a 1 nil lead in the series, only to be pegged back and then again winning the deciding leg to advance to the final.
The Playoff Final was what many people may have predicted, seed 1 v 2, Cannon Fodder v Inter Lincoln. A tremendously tight series that again went to the wire saw Ross' Cannon Fodder emerge victorious after game 3, handing Inter Lincoln their first 2 losses of the playoffs.

Some might say it was down to Inter Lincoln's depleted energy levels after their long and heroic cup run in the Champions League where they reached the semi finals. Others will claim it was the Cannon Fodder managers' skill and tactical nous that claimed them the victory. But either way the Cannon Fodder camp has had a pretty epic Christmas but the hard work is set to start all over again!

And to all managers in I.1 - It's been a great season, very competitive and I look forward to welcoming the newly promoted teams when we'll do it all again!
