United Kingdom Brighton Boom† - My Views Looking Towards The Playoffs and Other News.

Season Six has so far been one of the most enjoyable seasons so far for the Boom.

Our turn of results has been the culmination of some very distant planning way back about a year ago. I looked very hard at the team when I decided to sell Huber (remember him !) At that point I knew that I had to focus on the strengths of my best players. - Rather than make players do what they simply were not ready for.

MY defender's were my best players and so I set about building a swooping counter-attack side. The sub-plot to all this is that the offence has became support and at this point I'm not entirely in Sync with this.

The previous press releases et al. Were a pressure release that at last the product of my relentless study and niche thinking was beginning to produce the kind of play that defines the team.

I have set about the Boom to be a very 'Quirky' but also a very dangerous team. A mixture of youth and experience and some very specific training has got me almost to the point where I have caught up on guys that started before me. And it is indeed a very long but a very enjoyable mission. And I want to thank all my opponents for making this game/Sim something to which I look forward to most evenings.

I'm sorry to see Leicester go. They were at their peak quite a bogey team for me and I really enjoyed the battles we had. I hope you come back someday Olly. - Peace.

Onto the Playoffs soon and it's a time when I normally push the Boom to some kind of extreme ! I hope this year we can get that elusive title. I will be going for it, so watch out !!

Team News:

Nick Davies has turned his form around remarkably since the deluge he received ! There is additional pressure for both Millen/Davies now at GK with Gadja the hot Polish prospect pushing them. - Although, I would expect another season of training for Gadja before he jumps into the fire.

The defence are almost at legendary status. Now, I have all three defensive backs on National Teams and that's pretty cool. :)

And lastly guys, I know some of you post and some of you don't. It's all cool. I just wanted to say personally that I appreciate everyone of you and peace to all(off court) ofc :)

Ok fella's

Oh, and Vote for Miloslav(Lucenec) for the NT. In my opinion he's a very solid coach and will sort out the fiasco that the current NT has become.

Laters,

Nigel
