St. Paulin manageri on vahvistanut, että joukkueeseen on hankittu brittiläinen Steve Palmer. Pivotina pelaava Palmer on walesiläisen Glwb Handball Wrecsamin juniori. Siirtosummaksi vahvistettiin 800 000¤."Olen innoissani. Hornets on sarjassa kärkitaistelussa ja Suomen urheilun tason on tunnetusti kova", kommentoi Sveitsistä otteluun valmistuva nuorukainen.
"Palmer on juuri se mitä haemme. Kahden suunnan pivot, joka pystyy kääntämään ottelut voitoiksi", todettiin joukkueen johdosta.
Palmerin kanssa solmitun sopimuksen pituus on 123 päivää ja arvo 71 000¤
